Our job is to love others without stopping to inquire whether or not they are worthy. That is not our business and, in fact, it is nobody’s business. What we are asked to do is to love, and this love itself will render both ourselves and our neighbors worthy if anything can.

The true form is magnificently illuminated with gleaming fire. The teaching’s voice is total silence amid the ringing of wind chimes. The moon hangs in the old pine tree, cold in the falling night. The chilled crane in its nest in the clouds has not yet been aroused from its dreams.

There is a pleasure in the pathless woods,
There is a rapture on the lonely shore,
There is society where none intrudes
By the deep sea, and music in its roar.
I love not man the less, but nature more,
From these our interviews in which I steal
From all I may be, or have been before,
To mingle with the universe and feel
What I can ne’re express, yet cannot all conceal.
Lord Byron
Sagehood has nothing to do with governing others but is a matter of ordering oneself. Nobility has nothing to do with power and rank but is a matter of self realization. Attain self-realization, and the whole world is found in the self. Happiness has nothing to do with wealth and status, but is a matter of harmony.

When one realizes oneself, one realizes the essential nature of the universe. The existence of duality is only an illusion and when the illusion is undone, the primordial unity of one’s own nature and the nature of the universe is realized, or made real.

First there must be order and harmony within your own mind. Then this order will spread to your family, then to the community, and finally to your entire kingdom. Only then can you have peace and harmony.

But don’t confuse cause and effect. Your primary task is not to seek salvation through creating a better world, but to awaken out of identification with form. You are then no longer bound to this world, this level of reality. You can feel your roots in the Unmanifested and so are free of attachment to the manifested world. You can still enjoy the passing pleasures of this world, but there is no fear of loss anymore, so you don’t need to cling to them. Although you can enjoy sensory pleasures, the craving for sensory experience is gone, as is the constant search for fulfillment through psychological gratification, through feeding the ego. You are in touch with something infinitely greater than any pleasure, greater than any manifested thing.

For our Light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all.

To Be An Emperor Within YourSelf.
To be spiritual means to be an emperor within yourself. This is the only way to be. Is there any other way to be? Consciously, would anybody choose to seek something from someone or something else? Maybe out of his helplessness he seeks, but consciously would anybody choose to do this? Wouldn’t every human being want to be that way, where he is one hundred percent within himself? It does not mean you have to become totally self-sufficient. Always there is interdependence, but within yourself everything is there: you don’t have to seek outside. Even somebody’s company is not needed for you. If another person needs it, you will give it, but by yourself, you do not need anybody’s company. This means you are no more a beggar within. Only for external things, maybe you will have to go to the world outside. This is ultimate freedom.

You have to involve your heart. The more you try to hide it, and keep it silent, the more isolated and secluded You become. Until finally, You disappear, and grow lost amongst the illusions of the worldly.
