Today, I sat out looking at the sky,
feeling so small compared to it.
I stared deep into the center of this gigantic mass of air
And could picture You sitting in it with yearning hands stretched out to me
And all I wanted to do was run into Your arms
But You’re so far away and all I could do

Internal conflict
of needs and wants
was driving me insane
the irony is that it was my
insanity
increasing the madness
every thought
was of escape
I wanted to escape
the pain
the loneliness
the hopelessness
the darkness
this vortex sucking me down
dragging my spirit…
So much malice
Alice
with that knife tucked in your belt
blood stains on
your freshly polished shoes
that cat went down so quickly
as you sliced his stripes to shreds
but the hatter
grew madder
laughing hysterically
only infuriated you further
Irate
with hate
your rampage ensued
as you slaughtered the party
until nothing was left
but a blood covered mess
and the rage in your heart, subdued
Fell
Fallen
Following
Down
Down the rabbit hole
leading to where your heart can be found
I fall gracefully
naturally
begging for more
as this free fall of love
swallows me whole
consume me, dear love
forever bind with me too
because I’ve fallen
so madly in love with you

I cannot stress enough…
How powerful mindful speech truly is. It can alter the life, thoughts and perception of the receiver. Through kind, loving, and understanding speech…You can literally change lives, views and the world around you. You must practice this every single time you open your mouth to another. You must speak the way you wish you had always been spoken to, with compassion, being mindful of what the receiver might be facing. The power of words when spoken with love is amazing.

Tyrants
I cannot stand those who are indifferent towards me. I respect those who fight me. I pity those who look down on me. I forget those who dislike me. I sympathize with those who hate me. I cannot help but disagree with those who like me. And I have nothing but admiration for those who love me.
Many people think they will be able to practice generosity only after they have accumulated a small fortune. I know young people who dream of getting rich so they can bring happiness to others: “I want to become a doctor or the president of a big company so I can make a lot of money and help many people.” They do not realize that it is often more difficult to practice generosity after you are wealthy. If you are motivated by loving kindness and compassion, there are many ways to bring happiness to others right now, starting with kind speech. The way you speak to others can offer them joy, happiness, self-confidence, hope, trust, and enlightenment. Mindful speaking is a deep practice.
