Tim Tebow.

Has there ever been a more heavily criticized winning athlete in the NFL?
I mean, when he loses a game the I told you so’s never stop, but when he wins, the harsh criticism and pessimistic cheer never stop either.
Week to week Tim Tebow is doubted, called out, and expected to fail by his own peers and analysts of the game, both publicly and behind the scenes. And week to week, Tim Tebow kneels down to say a prayer before every outing, keeps himself humble and dedicated to his task, and fires back at his nonbelievers and naysayers by almost single handedly leading his team to victory against the most improbable of foes.
From barbershops to corner stores to nail salons, that’s right, I said nail salons, Tim Tebow has become a common topic of conversation for men and women of all ages.
Is it his religious stance? Is it being a man of few words? His humble attitude and approach to all he does and says? Or is it his heart that is most admired by his fans?
He has shots taken at him daily: he cannot complete a pass, he can’t succeed as a QB in the NFL, he shouldn’t be winning these games and so on and so forth. Yet every time he touches the field, you are drawn to him. You can’t help but stare at him, waiting to see how he will manage his next miracle win.
As a fan of his, I find myself disgusted with most of the talk, as well as the looks and comments he has gotten from his own coach John Fox and VP of operations for the Broncos, John Elway. So I decided to pull up some stats on the great John Elway (a hall of fame QB is his own right) from when he was a rookie in the NFL, and it was just as I suspected!:
John Elway after 8 starts as a QB in the NFL:
3-5 record
1041 passing yards with 3 TDs and 10 Interceptions
92 rushing yards with 1 TD
Tim Tebow after 8 starts as a QB in the NFL:
5-3 record
1281 passing yards with 10 TDs and 4 Interceptions
550 rushing yards with 5 TDs
Apparently, when you ride such a high horse as John Elway does, it allows for you to cast judgment upon the next in line when he isn’t going about things your way or the way you see fit, yet still manages to help his team prevail.
I said it from the moment Tim Tebow set foot on the field, he doesn’t need to make it look pretty, he doesn’t have to prove a thing to anyone but himself and his teammates, all you need is heart, and Tim has that by the helmet full.
The minute he became the starting QB for the Denver Broncos I saw a completely new attitude from his teammates. I watch weekly as they make inspired play after inspired play, and that began with the faithful one.
So my congratulations and continued blessings to Tim Tebow, as he has become a figure of inspiration and light to a generation that has fallen victim to the greed and critique of those wishing they possessed such pure Love and heart for the game.

David Nelson did his best to avoid an awkward situation on Sunday.
After catching a three-yard touchdown pass in the second quarter to put the Buffalo Bills on the scoreboard, 21-7, Nelson first celebrated with his teammates in the end zone, then went to the sideline and handed the ball to his girlfriend — who happens to be a Dallas Cowboys cheerleader.
“It was a special moment to share with her,” Nelson said of Kelsi Reich, who is in her fourth season as a Cowboys cheerleader. “I didn’t want it to be awkward.”
Nelson’s gesture thrilled Reich, who tweeted after the 44-7 Cowboys win: “What a special day today was! I feel so blessed & so proud of @DavidNelson86! Thanks for my game ball, I wont let go of it :) happiest girl!”
Some of Nelson’s Twitter followers approve of the move as well, calling it “classy” and “adorable.”
But Nelson also is receiving his share of backlash, with tweets such as “you embarassed Buffalo and its fans by celebrating down 21-7 w that … skit … act like you care about the game!” and “You can showboat when ur up 30 points, not down 2 td’s on the road.”

“Just putting it on, it felt good. Taking it off was emotional back in 2007. Knowing at the time when I was doing it that I wasn’t going to be doing this anymore. I just don’t like to dwell on stuff. I certainly did feel differently when I put it on today. It’s something I hadn’t done for a long time. It’s obviously the uniform that has meant the most to my career.”
Former New York manager JOE TORRE, participating in his first Yankee Stadium Old Timers’ Day since leaving the team after the 2007 season. Torre, who is now a executive with Major League Baseball, guided the Yankees to four World Series championships, making the post-season each year.
Welcome back, Joe.

So yeah…
My evening ended beautifully with a fantastic victory over the Dallas Mavericks by my guy King James and the Miami Heat. Between the King and Flash we put a spectacular show to finish the game. I believe we will multiple championships beginning this year. So let the haters hate while we demonstrate what greatness is all about.
Humble, unselfish, extraordinary defense…I mean, we’re practically flawless now and we don’t even have a deep squad. Imagine next year lol…I feel bad for anyone that isn’t a LeBron fan. Let alone not a Miami Heat fan.

I seriously wonder how Malcolm feels right about now.
Its gotta be hard enough that his *Loss Angeles Fakers were swept in disgraceful fashion. Now he had to watch the LeBron James show all over again as he continues to destroy and manhandle the entire league. Off to the Finals we go though…Enjoy more of King James and the Miami HEAT on ABC/ESPN.
Haha this is funny.
I will give the Heat credit for knocking off all these teams that everyone, including me, thought would take them out, but y’all ain’t quite won yet.
Bron’s been to the Finals before, and that didn’t really go so well.
LOL we all know that playing without a team sucks…Which was Bron’s case in Cleveland. Their record this year more than justifies he was the Savior of that franchise. Its a little different now when you have legitimate players by your side. Which is how your beloved Phony Bryant won his Championships…And that’s the bottom line bro. Miami awaits its jewelry. So you better keep praying to Dirk.

I apologize for my LeBron James/Miami Heat spam.
Just proud of my guys…Especially my favorite player and the best player in the NBA, LeBron James. He has been ridiculed, hated on…And still he rises and prevails and continues to play fearless and with intense passion. He’s done everything the critics said he couldn’t do. Including closing out every game. Magic Johnson himself said, and I quote: “LeBron James has been the MVP of the playoffs and continues to be the best player in the NBA.”
I’m just a proud supporter of who will ultimately be known as the greatest player of this generation. King James.
One of the greatest Rain Delays in Baseball history. IMO. If you’re in the mood to laugh a bit…Go for it.
