I am in a pretty fragile state of emotions…
While they all revolve around the love of my life, this trial has been the greatest obstacle yet. I’ve learned though, that love, just as faith, must be tested. It must be driven to its supposed “limits” in order for us to finally realize that unconditional love has no limits. There are no boundaries, no borders, there is no “enough is enough” when true love is witnessed and experienced.
Just as anything else in your life that brings light to your inner most bliss, if you cherish it, you must fight for it. Not the kind of fight that leaves your hands bloodied, but the kind of fight that leads to you breaking through every barrier and wall you have ever placed before your heart in the name of “safety” or “protection.”
There is no pride in love, there is no ego. There is but risk. For true love is courageous, reckless, and totally free. There is but selfless giving, understanding and compassion at a constant. There is the knowing that there is more buried in the words spoken, and if you have honestly listened with all of your heart, you will hear what has been said beyond the language.
I love you, baby, for all that you are. And I love you more for every fear, every flaw, every doubt, every question mark you have about us… Because you only help to bring the truest, greatest me to the rescue of you and our sacred love.
I will not fail you, I will not falter or fold. I will not allow us to part ways for the sake of a fear or a thought. For what we share is seen beyond sight, and something that visible is indivisible.
I believe in you, I believe in myself, and I believe in us even more.
